4 Gaymer Memorial Cottages, Attleborough, Norfolk
We completed our retrofit of a 1940s almshouse in Attleborough, Norfolk in March 2011. The bungalow started out as a poor performer in terms of energy efficiency and thermal comfort, but through retrofitting a variety of measures, including increased insulation and a suite of renewable technologies, we were able to improve its rating from G to B, and achieved an excellent 92% reduction in carbon emissions.
